City Center Director:

  • Schedule and lead monthly meetings with the City Center Committee with the goal of organizing tours, CEUs, and other events for the local chapter.

  • Delegate tasks as appropriate to the City Center Committee in support of each event.

  • Support each chair position by ensuring that he/she has everything needed to hold a successful event.

  • Ensure each committee chair position is filled and work with him/her to find someone to shadow them for the following year.

  • Participate in monthly Board conference calls and quarterly face-to-face meetings or retreats.

  • Communicate pertinent information from the State Board to the City Center Committee.

  • Attend local and statewide events to encourage participation.

  • Submit and gain approval for event posters from the State Communications Chair.

  • Work with VP of Communications and website director to add events to the website calendar one month in advance of each event.

  • Add event reminders and photos to social media in conjunction with the State Communication Chair.

  • Coordinate with VP of membership for the assembly and delivery of a goody bags and welcome notes to each new member.

  • Work and coordinate with President Elect on city center financial matter and budgets.

  • Serves as spokesperson for the City Center.

  • Coordinate schedules and events with IIDA Student campus centers and ASID Chapters in this area.
